-Day 5: Kissing
First Times
“So? Do you like it”The Doctor extended his hands out towards his new TARDIS desktop as River sauntered in next to him.
“Oh, YES, this one has always been one of my favourites,” she breathed into his neck but The Doctor scowled and moved away.
“Of course it is! You know, I just want it to be a first time for both of us for once!”
“Careful what you wish for sweetie…” She followed.
“Why? I just want one first time River, is that too much to ask?”
“Well then, I can think of a couple things we both haven’t done yet.”
The Doctor went red, “No, River, not, no, this is a new desktop, everything is - sanitary, it’s NEW, it’s…”
She looked at him with a raised brow and frowned, “Fine, I was just trying to help,”she said as she walked towards the stairs. He had regretted his words the moment they had come out so he fiddled with his coat and began to pace nervously around the consol.
“NO, wait, River…” the words had escaped him before he had time to think of a proper apology, “I want to do first things with you!”
River turned around annoyed, “Well, now I’m not in the mood!”
The Doctor slowly walked up to meet her, “Well, that’s a first for both of us for sure. You really are the best wife ever.”
River hit his chest and he quickly grabbed her wrist and kissed it.
“Oh stop it you stupid idiot, I should just leave you to your new toys and lights and you can just have a bunch of first times alone together and I don’t even know why I try you’re-“ as his lips swept in she really couldn’t do much more protesting, so River Song changed her mind. Besides, that wasn’t the only first-time-thing she wanted to get through that night.
